Welcome to Kan Yuk sa Chapter

Kan Yuk sa Chapter, National Society Daughters of the American Revolution, is located in Jacksonville, FL.
We were organized on October 17, 1950 by 11 of the 14 organizing members.
The name is the Seminole Indian name for Florida. "Kan" means "land or ground" and "Yuk sa" means "point of".
We are the only night chapter in Jacksonville resulting in many of our members being working women.
We meet the first Thursday of every month October through May. Exceptions are September, December, March and May when we meet on the first Saturday.
Our meetings are held in different members homes and begin at 7:00 p.m.
If you wish for more information, please contact the
webmaster or visit the Florida Society or National websites.
